If you have ordered an item that will be delivered by a forwarding agent, we need your telephone number. If you have not provided a correct telephone number, the shipping company will return the barbecue to us. The reshipment may incur additional costs for you.
We do everything we can to get your order to you as quickly as possible. Stock goods leave our warehouse after two days at the latest, even in peak season. Spare parts can take more than 30 days to reach you. You can track your shipment at here
We deliver every barbecue to your home free of charge. Delivery is made throughout Germany to the kerbside. On request, we can also deliver barbecues already assembled for a fee of 149€ to the desired storage location within a radius of 10 km from our location*.
This also means that we give every customer who collects their barbecue in person accessories or spices worth 50€ as a thank-you gift with their purchase. We do not limit the selection of accessories. The offer also applies to reduced grills. If the selected products exceed the 50€, the 50€ is a kind of voucher which will be credited to the additional products, reducing the purchase price by 50€. This offer can NOT be redeemed retrospectively. Bundles or special offers agreed in-store are not subsequently compatible with this offer **.
Delivery within the EU is possible for an additional charge. The costs can vary greatly from country to country.
*This only applies to a radius of 10km around our location (Buchholzstraße 105, 51469 Bergisch Gladbach).
**Cannot be combined with other vouchers. Not payable in cash. Differential or residual values will not be paid out in cash. Not redeemable at a later date. Only on customer request. There is no entitlement to this offer. When purchasing a barbecue in combination with several modules, the price of 149€ per module applies. The price includes delivery to the installation site but does not include positioning and alignment, nor instruction or the connection of gas or water-bearing parts. This is the responsibility of the user.
The shipping costs are calculated in the shopping cart and depend on the respective items and the item weight.
To find out the exact shipping costs, you can enter the desired item in the shopping cart and your address. The shipping costs to you will then be calculated automatically.
As soon as your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email with a tracking link. You can also find the tracking link in the footer of our store or at here.
For some products, the cost and/or duration of shipping is somewhat longer. This may be the case for an outdoor kitchen with assembly, for example. There are also products, such as new products, which are already available for pre-order. To enable our customers to be the first to purchase these products, we make them available for pre-order.
There are also products that are sometimes difficult to obtain. Here you can imagine the purchase as a kind of waiting list. As soon as new goods arrive, all orders will be sent out one after the other.
Here we would like to communicate an extended delivery time directly.
If you live in the Bergisch Gladbach area, you can contact us by e-mail or ask directly in the store whether we are currently able to set up your barbecue for you.
Of course you can return your products, please refer to our return policy.
To return products, it is important that they are still unused.
How long the collection confirmation takes depends on the product ordered. Some products are ready for collection on the same day. Spare parts or items with a longer delivery time may delay this.
If you would like to cancel your order, please send an email to info@grillgoods.de
RECLAMATIONS
Dents and scratches can occur during transportation and cannot be prevented due to the soft material. This is not a reason for complaint. The trays can be easily bent back into shape.
Due to the production process, there may be slight scratches on your plancha, circles caused by the suction cups of the machines or lettering on the stainless steel plates. This is production-related and not a reason for complaint. The processing marks are not harmful to health and will disappear when the plancha is used.
SPARE PARTS
All spare parts for all barbecues in the range, from every manufacturer. Exceptions are spare parts that are no longer produced by the manufacturer.
It is logistically and financially impossible to keep large quantities of all spare parts in stock.
Spare parts from Germany have a delivery time of one to two weeks, in season two to three weeks. Parts from the USA, Canada or the Far East can take longer.
Unfortunately, spare parts cannot be collected from the store. We do not have most spare parts in stock and order them for you directly from the dealer. Therefore, delivery times are over 30 days in some cases.
We will notify you when your spare part has arrived.
Sometimes it happens that a spare part is not available from the manufacturer. In such a case, we will have to cancel your order.
GRILL SEMINARS
Unfortunately, no additional people or children can be brought along. Our capacity is limited to exactly 22 people, and additional guests would take a place away from paying customers.
BABOSSA & MEAT 'N' GREAT PRODUCTS
Our own brands are Meat 'n' Great, Babossa-BBQ and Knister Grill
Your barbecue can easily reach 300-400 degrees, our high-quality materials are designed for very high temperatures.
Due to the high quality, our material also discolors. These are normal product characteristics.
All our planchas are produced in Germany, more precisely in the south of Germany in Hesse and Baden-Württemberg in a family business. Due to the short production process, we protect the environment and also ensure the best quality of our products.
Apparently the plancha was not inserted correctly. The plancha must be correctly positioned on the support points, otherwise the plancha will wobble. If the plancha has been inserted correctly, nothing should wobble.
Rust stains and corrosion can already occur due to transportation, rain and humidity. This is a desirable effect, as the steel forms a protective layer that protects the fire barrel from further corrosion.
Individual plug-in parts of the fire barrel are not always 100% flat, but may have a slight bend. The barrel is stable when it is plugged together. The heat can also cause individual metal sheets to bend slightly. The fire barrel is designed to retain its shape up to 800 degrees Celsius.
All our products are made of extremely robust V2A stainless steel. This is safe for food and also dishwasher-safe.
As long as the dimensions of the grill plate are small enough to fit on the grill, you can also use any plancha on the grill grate. Alternatively, you can order a made-to-measure plancha from Babossa: https://www.babossa-bbq.de/products/plancha-nach-mass
GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT CERAMIC GRILLS
There are craquelure marks in the glaze, this is normal for Kramik grills. These are caused by the stoving process and are a sign of quality
Small imperfections in the glaze are normal, as the ceramic has to be held in place somewhere during glazing. These areas are reworked by hand during production. Nevertheless, these areas do not look like the rest of the grill.
The inner firebox of your ceramic barbecue may develop additional cracks over time. These stress cracks are also normal and your barbecue can still be used.
Due to the weight of the lid, the handle screws must be tightened regularly.
Ceramic barbecues have a very heavy lid, so all the screws holding the lid in place must be tightened regularly to prevent the lid from slipping out of the frame.
GENERAL QUESTIONS ABOUT BARBECUING
You should not make yourself dependent on brands, as all brands can be suitable for beginners. It is more a question of what requirements a beginner has for a gas barbecue. Do you want a rear burner or a sizzle zone / prime zone or not? It's best to ask us for advice so that you can find the best barbecue for you.
This depends on the individual requirements of the barbecue. Good mid-range barbecues that you can enjoy for a long time start at 600€. We are constantly testing a wide variety of entry-level models on YouTube.
For a family of 4, we would recommend a barbecue with 4 burners. However, if there is little space available, for example on the balcony, a barbecue with three burners may also be sufficient. However, this depends on your individual requirements. A barbecue with three burners does not get as hot as a barbecue with four burners and the grilling surface may also be too small for a family of four.
First of all, you should use less oil when oiling. For example, our Babossa grease release spray is suitable for this. You can also oil the griddle with linseed oil, as this dries out and forms a firm patina. Please use a different oil before placing the food on the grill.
Barbecue tongs: For turning and moving food on the barbecue. You can find barbecue tongs at here.
Grill brush: For cleaning the grill grate after use. You can find barbecue brushes at here.
Thermometer: For checking the core temperature of the meat. You can find thermometers at here.
Aluminum foil and grill trays: For covering and indirect grilling.
For wood-fired barbecues:
Chimney starter: to get the coals glowing evenly. You can find firelighters at here.
We have made a YouTube video about this, take a look here: Link
Yes, you can bake pizza on a gas grill:
1. use a pizza stone: Preheat.
2. indirect grilling: Outer burners on, middle off.
3. close the lid: For even heat.
4. baking time: 10 minutes should be enough.
Your pizza can be prepared even better on the gas grill with the help of our Babossa pizza hood.
The chef's knife and the utility knife are particularly suitable for general kitchen work, with the utility knife being slightly smaller than the chef's knife.
Our Babossa and Meat 'N' Great knife sets contain all the knives you need for general kitchen work.
When grilling, different kitchen knives are used, each designed for specific tasks. The Chai Dao is an Asian knife that is ideal for chopping and slicing vegetables and meat. Its wide blade can also be used for chopping ingredients and for easy transportation of cut vegetables. The chef's knife is the most versatile knife in the kitchen and is used for a variety of tasks, including slicing, chopping and dicing meat, vegetables and herbs.
A filleting knife has a thin, flexible blade that is ideal for filleting fish and cutting meat with precision. The Santoku is a Japanese all-purpose knife that is characterized by its versatility and is ideal for slicing, dicing and mincing vegetables and meat. The all-purpose knife is slightly smaller than the chef's knife and is well suited to tasks that require precision, such as cutting smaller pieces of meat or preparing vegetables and fruit.
The carving knife has a long, thin blade and is used to cut large pieces of meat, roasts and poultry into thin, even slices. It is particularly useful when serving grilled meat as it allows for clean and precise cuts.
These types of knives provide the necessary tools to tackle any grilling preparation task efficiently and precisely, from slicing and chopping to filleting, carving and serving.
Flame protection plates, also known as aroma plates, are useful accessories for gas barbecues. They protect the burners from dripping fat and prevent flames from forming, which extends the service life of the burners. They also ensure even heat distribution and make cleaning the barbecue easier. Another advantage is that they catch and evaporate dripping juices, giving the food a more intense aroma. We have Babossa flame protection plates for various barbecues in our range.
A plancha is a flat, smooth metal plate that distributes heat evenly over the entire surface and is ideal for delicate foods and cooking with liquids. A grill pan, on the other hand, has raised grooves that leave grill marks and allow fat to drip off. It is particularly suitable for meat and vegetables. While the plancha ensures even heat, the grill pan simulates grilling on a grid and offers healthier results by draining off fat.
No, a plancha or grill pan is not essential for grilling burgers. However, it can be useful for achieving even heat distribution and a nice crust on the burgers. If you don't have a plancha or grill pan, you can also prepare burgers directly on the grill grate. Make sure that the grill is well preheated and that the burgers are not turned too often to achieve the best results.
A popular marinade for chicken is the lemon garlic marinade:
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- Juice and zest of one lemon
- 3-4 cloves of garlic, chopped
- 1 teaspoon of honey or maple syrup
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs such as thyme and rosemary.
You can find all our marinades at here.
A suitable silicone cutlery tray for the Rogue models is the "Babossa cutlery tray, 44x34cm" or the "Napoleon cutlery tray 43x31cm"
A top heat grill is not necessary to prepare a perfect steak, but it does offer some advantages. The extremely high temperatures quickly produce a delicious crust and intense roasted flavors. However, other grilling methods such as a conventional grill, a grill pan or a combination of searing and then cooking in the oven can also produce excellent results. The decisive factors are high-quality ingredients and the right technique.
The smoker box from Napoleon is perfect for all Napoleon barbecues from the Freestyle series upwards. However, you can also place any other on the grill.
A double-walled lid or heat shield is particularly useful in winter. If you're not sure, you can retrofit a heat shield to some barbecues if they don't insulate enough.
The order of grilling is as follows:
- Put the pork on the grill first.
- This is followed by the poultry.
- Next, grill the sausages and fish.
- Finally, place the vegetables and beef on the grill.
Taste and texture: Immediately after grilling, the steak offers the best taste and a tender texture.
Juice distribution: Studies show that resting has no significant effect on juice distribution.
Temperature: A steak that has not been rested remains hotter and therefore tastier.
Time saving: Serving immediately saves time and offers a better culinary experience.
Even cooking: With a core temperature thermometer, the steak can be cooked exactly to the desired point.
