Warranty conditions for Napoleon barbecues

Napoleon's guarantee conditions extend and supplement the purchaser's statutory claims, including warranty rights against the seller and rights in the context of product liability. With this guarantee, Napoleon grants the customer additional claims against Wolf Steel Europe B.V., which exist in addition to the statutory claims.

This Napoleon guarantee is only valid for the original purchaser if he is a consumer and uses the barbecue for normal private use. The guarantee is valid from the date of purchase and applies to the defects listed below that occur during normal domestic use. The guarantee only applies if all assembly instructions and preventive maintenance and care measures in accordance with the operating instructions, which must be carried out by the purchaser, have been complied with.

This guarantee grants the registered first purchaser of the barbecue the following claims, to the extent permitted by law. The warranty claims are not transferable and cannot be extended by one of our representatives.

Installation must be in accordance with the enclosed installation instructions and all applicable regional and national building and fire codes for the warranty to be valid.

Napoleon warrants the components of your new Napoleon product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the following period from the date of purchase:

	Aluminum table top and base	3 years

	Stainless steel burner assembly	3 years
	All other parts	2 years

^{PLUS L.D.} means an extended warranty period whereby the replacement part is made available to the purchaser for the lifetime* of the grill at 50% of the current retail price.
^PLUS15 means an extended warranty period whereby the replacement part is made available to the purchaser for an additional 15 years at 50% of the current retail price.
^PLUS10 means an extended warranty period whereby the replacement part is made available to the purchaser for an additional 10 years at 50% of the current retail price.
*Lifetimemeans a warranty period of 30 years.

This warranty applies to: the European Union, Switzerland, Andorra, San Marino, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein.

The statutory rights to which the customer is entitled in the event of defects in accordance with §§ 437 ff. BGB are not affected by this guarantee and are not restricted or changed by the guarantee. The use of statutory rights is free of charge.

Conditions and restrictions

Napoleon warrants its products to be free from defects only to the original purchaser and provided that the purchase is made through an authorized Napoleon dealer. The following conditions and limitations apply:
This manufacturer's warranty is non-transferable and cannot be extended by any of our representatives under any circumstances.
The gas grill must be installed by a licensed, authorized service technician or contractor. Installation must be in accordance with the installation instructions provided and all regional and national building and fire codes.
This limited warranty does not cover damage caused by improper operation, faulty maintenance, grease fires, environmental influences, accidents, modifications, misuse or negligence. If spare parts from other manufacturers are installed, this warranty is void. Discoloration of plastic parts due to the use of chemical cleaning agents or exposure to sunlight are not covered by this warranty.
Also excluded from this guarantee are Scratches, dents, paint damage, coatings, corrosion or discoloration caused by exposure to heat or abrasive and chemical cleaning agents, and chipping on porcelain-coated parts and components used in the installation of the gas grill.
Should the condition of a part deteriorate (rust or burn through) within the warranty period to such an extent that it is no longer functional, a replacement part will be provided to the customer.
After the first year, Napoleon is authorized under this warranty (President's Limited Lifetime Warranty, 15 Year Limited Warranty, 10 Year Limited Warranty, 3 Year Limited Warranty), at its option, to release itself from all warranty obligations by refunding to the original purchaser the wholesale price of any defective warranty part.
Napoleon assumes no responsibility for installation, labor or other costs or expenses incurred in connection with the reinstallation of a warranted part. These costs are excluded from this warranty.
Notwithstanding anything contained in this warranty (President's Limited Lifetime Warranty, 15 Year Limited Warranty, 10 Year Limited Warranty, 3 Year Limited Warranty), Napoleon 's liability under this warranty shall be as set forth above and shall in no event extend to any incidental, consequential or indirect damages.
This warranty defines Napoleon 's obligation and liability with respect to the Napoleon gas grill. Napoleon assumes no further liability in connection with the sale of this product and does not authorize any third party to assume any further liability on its behalf.

Napoleon accepts no responsibility for: Overheating, blow out due to environmental factors such as high winds or inadequate ventilation.
Any damage to the gas barbecue caused by the weather, hail, rough handling, aggressive chemicals or cleaning agents is not the responsibility of Napoleon.
In the event of a warranty claim, the proof of purchase or a copy thereof must be submitted, stating the serial and model number.
Napoleon reserves the right to have the product or any part of it inspected by one of its representatives before fulfilling the warranty obligation.
Napoleon will not be responsible for transportation and labor costs or export duties.
