Throttle valve Alfa
The insert with throttle valve from Alfa speeds up the heating of the oven and keeps the temperature in the combustion chamber constant.
With this simple but practical accessory, the air flow in the baking chamber can be adjusted manually.
In this way, the temperature can be better controlled, consumption reduced and the energy efficiency of your wood or gas pizza oven increased.
Designed for durability, the Alfa damper is made of AISI 304 steel to ensure excellent heat and corrosion resistance. Quality that is essential for installation in the latest generation of pizza ovens.

How the Alfa butterfly valve works
The Alfa damper is extremely easy to install and use. To install it, simply place it over the hole in the dome of your pizza oven.
As soon as the flue pipe is also positioned over the insert with damper, the wood or gas oven can be ignited immediately.
Simply turn the knob on the insert to move the damper to a vertical or horizontal position.
When the damper is fully closed, it closes the insert and partially blocks the air passage. This allows the pizza chef to decide for himself if and when he wants to speed up the heating of the oven.
As soon as the operating temperature is reached, the heat is kept in the oven by closing the flap. This function is particularly useful for keeping the heat in the baking chamber constant.

The damper allows modular and precise regulation of the temperature required for perfect cooking of the various recipes.
The Low & Slow Kit not only offers impeccable cooking performance, but also allows you to reduce consumption by increasing the energy efficiency of your oven.
The kit is designed to be easily and quickly installed on all Alfa domestic ovens, with the exception of the small Portable.
Simply place the insert with damper between the oven and the flue. Make sure you wear heat-resistant gloves when handling the damper when using the oven.
