Its main function is to help you ignite the logs and handle the fire safely and cleanly. By placing the logs on the fire trestle, plenty of air is also supplied from below. This helps to feed the fire and saves time, as rapid fire ignition accelerates the formation of embers, causing the temperature of the stove to rise more quickly.
Our fire stand can be used with all Alfa models for domesticuseAnother advantage is that it makes it easier to move the fire. The fire trestle with the burning wood can be easily lifted with a handle using the pizza pusher.
The raised position of the fire also makes cleaning easier, as the baking surface is less soiled and the larger residues from burning wood are separated from the ash.
The Alfa fire trestle is made of high-quality stainless steel and is designed to withstand several years in the fire. It can withstand very high temperatures (over 1,000°C) and remains dimensionally stable even with very heavy loads of wood.
