The 16'' Calssic Dutch Oven from Camp Chef is perfect for you if you like to cook outdoors. The Dutch Oven can be used on an open fire or hot coals. This special cooking method is what makes cooking with the Dutch Oven so special. Whether it's stews, roasts or delicious homemade bread - the possibilities are endless!
The 16'' Classic is made of cast iron and has a pot diameter of approx. 40 cm. With a capacity of approx. 12 liters, this Dutch Oven is one of the really big ones - decorated with a grizzly motif. The Dutch Oven also has three legs so that the Dutch Oven is always stable. You can also transport the Dutch Oven using the convenient handle . (Caution: use barbecue gloves when using it!) The practical temperature grommet allows you to easily measure the internal temperature without having to open the lid and losing valuable heat.
Cooking with cast iron offers you many advantages. For example, cast iron can maintain high temperatures so that you can sear meat quickly and keep it nice and juicy. Above all, cast iron can retain heat over a longer period of time. For direct use of the Dutch oven, the pot has undergone a True Seasoned treatment.
