Having grown up in the mountains of the Andes, Francis Mallmann talks about Argentina, the 8th largest country in the world, in the first part of the book. He tells you about parilla, the simple barbecue, horno de barro (the clay oven), working with an asador (barbecue spit) and the caldero (cauldron).
You will then find over 120 delicious recipes compiled by the star chef himself. The recipes are sorted into main categories such as starters, different types of meat, vegetables, desserts and breads. In the final index, all the recipes are listed alphabetically with page numbers.
The book is accompanied by great pictures of individual dishes and the fantastic landscape pictures of Patagonia and the impressions of Francis Mallmann enrich the book many times over, as well as tips and tricks from the master.
