The half-moon shaped grill grate is simply inserted into the flexible cooking rack system Divide & Conquer™, which is used in your Kamado Joe Classic ceramic grill. The Kamado Joe Classic semi-circular cast iron grill grate can be combined with other grill grates and used at any level in this system. The robust cast iron grate is durable and has excellent heat-retaining properties, making it ideal for meat in one piece. The semicircular cast iron grate leaves a hearty grill stripe pattern on the food and thus preserves the rustic taste.
