The cast iron plate has a ribbed and a smooth surface, making it very flexible to use. It is ideal for preparing juicy steaks, but also for frying vegetables or fish.

Care should be taken when cleaning. The Lodge Cast Iron pans have already been well baked, so only lukewarm water and a brush made of natural fibers are needed to clean the pan. After repeated use, you can burn in a new patina with a care paste.
