Maldon salt, named after the place where it is produced, is an exceptionally good and aromatic "crystal clear" sea salt. It has been extracted for around 2,000 years - it once established the wealth of the entire region.

For over 100 years, it has been produced by the Maldon Crystal Salt Company on the north coast of England - by boiling and skimming the salt crystals from the sea water at medium depth during spring tides. Now in its 4th generation, the Osborne family's business is already impressing with its skills on the English North Sea coast near the village of Maldon. With a smile, they are often given the title of the "Salt Dynasty".
