The MONOLITH Classic deflector stone is the perfect addition to your MONOLITH Classic barbecue. It allows you to cook with indirect heat by blocking the direct radiation of the embers. With its two sections, the deflector stone covers the entire grill grate if desired, allowing you to grill with indirect heat over the entire grill surface. This is perfect if you want to cook large pieces of meat slowly and gently - without having to worry about the meat burning. If you only use part of the deflector stone, you can create different temperature zones on your grill, possibly in combination with the optional, divisible charcoal basket. This gives you the option of having a direct and an indirect heat zone at the same time.
