Vyrtse - Whisky pepper
Origin
The Belem pepper from Brazil is still relatively new on the market, as Brazil has only recently been used as a pepper growing region. Belem is the name of the port through which the pepper reaches Europe.
Highly aromatic black Belem pepper meets the best single malt whisky from a Brandenburg whisky distillery in oak barrels.
The pepper is soaked in whisky for several weeks and then gently dried so that the aromas are preserved. This allows the strong, spicy note of the pepper to combine with the smoky, soft aromas of the whisky. These are then released again when the pepper is ground.
How to use
Only use the whisky pepper in a mill or mortar, always freshly ground
