Our Zayiko Damascus knives are among the sharpest knife series in the world. The small Santoku knife from the Zayiko Kurumi walnut series is the first choice for meat and barbecue fans, as it makes cutting meat, fish and vegetables an effortless pleasure.
The 12.50 cm blade is made from 67 layers of original Japanese Damascus steel with a VG-10 steel core and a hardness of 60±2HRC. These layers of steel have been wound several times, making each knife a unique product thanks to the structure of different layers.
The handle is made of fine walnut wood and stands for timeless elegance. Our knives combine traditional craftsmanship with modern Asian forging. The perfectly coordinated combination of different raw materials creates a unique product that is highly resilient and extremely hard and therefore stays sharp for longer. See for yourself!
