Fire barrel further developed and optimized: The new Bandit from Moesta can do more and guarantees unforgettable evenings with friends and family! You can gather around it standing up or sit in front of it with bar stools, but the lower section is smaller in diameter, so you bump into it less with your feet and it just looks great. Ingeniously simple, isn't it! A real eye-catcher in any garden or on any patio. The fire pit can be used in many different ways. Either as a warm fire barrel in winter or as a barbecue on warm, sunny days in summer.

How does the Moesta fire barrel work?

The basic principle is the chimney effect - hot air flows upwards and draws in fresh air from below. The cut-outs in the logo provide plenty of fresh air so that your fire always burns cleanly and produces as little smoke as possible. The resulting enormous heat heats up the optional cast iron BBQ disk and the grill grate. The temperature is highest towards the inner opening and decreases further towards the edge. This enables searing and keeping warm or roasting in equal measure. Perfect for burgers and steaks! The fire grate is positioned further below the grill grate, so the wood or coal fire is exactly where it is needed. When you look at the Bandit FirePlace, the first thing you see is the rustic rust look, but don't worry - that's intentional! Normally you try to avoid this as much as possible, but Moesta has thought of something. The Bandit is made of solid 1.5 mm Corten steel. This steel forms a thin layer of rust on its surface, which provides natural protection. The rust does not penetrate deeper into the steel. This means that the fireplace not only looks special, but also lasts much longer than normal steel. Another eye-catching feature is the Moesta bull logo, which reveals its full appearance as soon as the fire is lit!

What can the Bandit FirePlace do?

For direct grilling over the fire or charcoal, a solid stainless steel grill with a surface area of Ø 54 cm and a fire grate are supplied. And with the optional BBQ Disk, your Bandit becomes a practical plancha. You can sear steaks, vegetables or burger patties really hot on it and prepare / keep buns or side dishes warm on the outer edge.

With the 4 bamboo boards mounted on the railing, you have a table right next to the barbecue - it doesn't get any better than that!

The base has attached edge protection so that your terrace remains well protected and also contributes to a stable stand. Thanks to the stable base, the Bandit stands securely even under heavy loads.

How do you clean a griddle and the fire barrel?

In addition to a practical ash funnel, the Bandit also has an integrated drawer. This can be pulled out and emptied very easily once the material has cooled down. This feature is really ingenious and solves the problem in the simplest possible way.

The cast iron of the optional BBQ disk requires a little more attention. To make sure you really get the most out of it for a long time, burn it in once before using it for the first time and then it gets better and better with every use. It forms a protective patina against dirt and rust, which has the same excellent non-stick properties as cast iron pans, for example.

To care for the disk, simply wipe it after use and rub it thinly with oil or a care paste. That's all it takes and you'll enjoy it for a long time.
